Welcome to Sculthorpe Parish Council

Sculthorpe is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. The village is situated some 4 km north-west of Fakenham and 5 km south-east of South Creake.

 

The civil parish has an area of 8.52 km² and in 2001 had a population of 744 in 312 households, the population increasing to 751 at the 2011 census.

​

There are many facilities that serve this thriving and active community. Among these include: a primary school, a church, a village hall, many clubs and societies, an outdoor play area,  and a pub.

​

There is also a bowling green and allotments.

The Parish Council is responsible for:​

​

  • upkeep of the village street lighting

  • the playing field 

  • the play area

  • commenting on planning applications

  • the village notice board

  • general maintenance around the village

  • upkeep of the bus shelters
